Crayford resident and teacher, Peter Daniel, wrote an education booklet telling the story of Crayford’s role in aviation history.
The booklet contains a scheme of work aimed at KS2 History Unit 18: What was it like to live here in the past? This full colour booklet is illustrated with photographs and documents from the collections at Bexley Local Studies & Archive Centre.
Activities linked to History Unit 18 are cross curricular and linked to the literacy hour to allow schools to make maximum use of the resource. The booklet contains classroom activities, including: story writing; art and design; persuasive writing and drama.
